The Orange Girl deleted its Facebook page in June, so Imma Di Marco did by closing her personal account.

Why We Quitted Facebook
- We were concerned about the power Facebook has to manipulate people, to track information about us, with few laws restricting how it can use it.
- We didn’t want anymore to feel the constant weight of business comparison on our shoulders or feel compelled to check how many customers had watched our posts.
- It didn’t help us increase social capital, that is to say, contacts and social relations.
We also decided not to look for better options in social media like Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram. At least for now.
What now?
We have decided to re-focus our attention on our website, blog pages, emails, newsletter, and, what is more, on social relations with people even in the current context of social distancing, by talking to them or having a phone call whenever possible.
